If you are not happy... CHANGE something - ANYthing!
If you can't change a big thing, change a small thing... use a different mug; try using your mouse in your other hand; do your hair differently; drive a different route... every little thing can have a big impact on your day.
Then appreciate THIS MOMENT. And if this moment isn't what you want it to be, know that this moment will pass. So appreciate that... the impermanence of it all... knowing there's a better moment to come.
You can always find something to appreciate... you have a job (you have money); you don't have a job (you have time); the hot cup of tea; the cold glass of water; the comfortable chair; your favourite pen; your favourite music; your best friend; ...
